The reflections of that rare political animal, the gay Republican, as he struggles to accept himself and have others accept him, all of him.

Jerry Falwell
Rev. Falwell died today at age 73. I am going to refrain from saying anything ugly, except that I was never a fan of his. If he did make it to Heaven, I hope that he learns there are gays can get there too.
Oh and he is in large part responsible for my political homelessness.
I used to be Progressive Conservative, but that party is long gone, and the extremists from the right have demolished it and built the "new conservatives", with plenty of input from today's version of the GOP (many from it are advising the current minority government here).
Lately, I hold my nose and vote for the Liberal party federally, because I can no longer stomach the direction they have turned to.
Thankfully, provincially, the old Progressive Conservative party is still in existence.
And why is it that the hate-mongers have forgotten that one of the seven deadly sins is gluttony?

Falwell and those like him are also responsible for driving me away from the once sane GOP.
His personna in that picture says it all! I hope his coronary arteries painfully choked the life from his heart......bastard!
